Intellectual Property Policy
FTNSS is a marketplace for access to independent fitness facilities. Facilities listed on FTNSS are responsible for the content they provide, including their business name, description, imagery and the categories they select. We respect intellectual property rights and act on reports that a listing infringes them.
Reporting infringement
If you hold intellectual property rights and believe a listing on FTNSS infringes them, contact us at ip@ftnss.fit. You do not need an FTNSS account to submit a report, and there is no charge for doing so.
What to include
So we can act quickly, please include: your name and contact details, and the rights holder you represent; your authority to act on their behalf; the right you are asserting, with a registration number where one applies; the exact FTNSS listing or content complained of, by URL; why you believe the use is infringing; and a statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, their agent, or the law.
Acknowledgement
We log every report and acknowledge it within two business days, with a reference you can quote in any follow-up.
Review
We review the listing, its imagery, description and category assignment against your report. All facility photographs pass through a moderation queue before publication, so we can compare what was reported against what was approved.
Action
Where a report is substantiated we remove or unpublish the content. Where the complaint concerns a trademarked name or category, we require the facility to evidence a valid licence or affiliation before the listing is restored.
Facility notification
We tell the facility what was actioned and why, and how to respond.
Counter-notice
If a facility provides evidence of a licence, affiliation, or ownership of the material, we restore the listing and inform the reporter.
Repeat infringement
Facilities subject to repeated substantiated reports are suspended from FTNSS under our Partner Terms.
Records
We keep a record of every report, the action taken and the outcome.
