Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data FTNSS Inc. collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. We've kept it plain because privacy shouldn't be buried in fine print. It covers the FTNSS app and website and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
We collect the details you give us when you create an account and use FTNSS — your name, email, date of birth, and emergency contact — along with your pass purchases, bookings, reviews, favorites, and support messages. We also collect technical information such as device and browser type, IP address, and how you interact with the service. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor; we don't store your full card number.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to run your account, process and confirm purchases, match you with relevant gyms, provide support, keep the service secure and prevent fraud, meet legal and tax obligations, and improve how FTNSS works. With your consent we also send product and marketing updates — you can opt out at any time from your email preferences or via the unsubscribe link.
3. Location data
If you allow it, we use your device location to find gyms near you. Location is used only to show nearby results and is never sold. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings; the rest of FTNSS keeps working without it.
4. How we share data
We share only what's needed to run the service: the partner gym you book receives enough information to admit you at check-in; our payment processor (Stripe) handles your transaction; and we use trusted infrastructure and tooling providers — including Supabase (database and authentication) and our email provider — under contract and only on our instructions. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of FTNSS, our users, or others. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the service is used. We use product-analytics tooling (PostHog) to measure usage and improve the experience, which may include capturing interaction events and, where enabled, session recordings; we configure these to mask sensitive input. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser and any consent controls we provide.
6. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When your account is deleted we may retain certain information for these purposes; when it's no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update most details in your profile, manage marketing in your email preferences, and delete your account in the app or on the website. To exercise other rights, contact us using the details below; we won't discriminate against you for doing so.
8. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires.
9. Children
FTNSS is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. International users & transfers
FTNSS is operated from North America and our service providers may process your data in the United States and Canada. If you access FTNSS from another country, you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in those locations, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we'll post the new version here and update the “last updated” date above, and where appropriate we'll notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of FTNSS after an update means you accept the revised policy.
