Toronto, ON (16 Jun 2026) — FTNSS (ftnss.fit), the global gym access marketplace, today announced its first international expansion with the launch of FTNSS in Canada — and a partnership with Hone Fitness, one of Toronto's most established fitness brands. The announcement coincides with the FIFA World Cup 2026™, which kicked off in Toronto on 12 June 2026. FTNSS supports 30+ languages — including Punjabi and Cantonese — and gives visiting fans immediate access to Hone's six downtown Toronto locations by the day, week or month, with no contract.
For FTNSS CEO and founder Jordan Robinson, the expansion is personal. Jordan moved to Toronto twelve years ago, became a Canadian citizen last year, and built FTNSS out of a question he kept asking himself while travelling: if you can book a hotel room online for a night, why can't you do the same with a gym? FTNSS launched in March 2026 and connects users to gyms across the United States and now Toronto, Canada, with the platform available to travellers from 40+ countries. Canada is the company's first market outside the United States, and Toronto is where the story starts.
This city is why FTNSS exists. Getting my Canadian citizenship last year meant a lot to me personally, and bringing FTNSS home for the World Cup feels like coming full circle.
"The diversity here, the mix of people from every corner of the world — Toronto showed me there was a global problem worth solving," said Jordan Robinson, CEO and founder of FTNSS. "We want every fan who comes to this city to feel at home — and that starts with having a great place to train."
A partner built for Toronto
With Toronto set to host six World Cup matches and welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors between 12 June and 2 July, FTNSS and Hone Fitness are positioned to serve fans arriving from around the world. Day, week and monthly access to Hone is available now, with no contract.
Hone Fitness was founded by Jim Solomon, a 25-year fitness industry veteran who previously founded Extreme Fitness in Toronto and served as president and CEO of Crunch from 2000 to 2004. Born at Yonge & Bloor in 2014, Hone has grown to six clubs across downtown Toronto, all now bookable through FTNSS.
"Hone was built for Toronto, and the World Cup is Toronto's moment," said Jim Solomon, founder of Hone Fitness. "Partnering with FTNSS means we can open our doors to the world — literally."
